Warranty And Refund Policy

The below parts are covered under our warranty.

  1. Motors – 1 year warranty
  2. Battery Packs –  1.5 year warranty
  3. Charger – 1 year warranty
  4. Controller – 1 year warranty
  5. Throttle – 6 months warranty
  6. Other E-parts – 12 months warranty

This warranty covers parts only and does not cover shipping costs or any labour costs associated with repairs.

Warranty parts will only be shipped within India. Warranty does not cover products employed for commercial use or specialty setups with extra load (e.g., pedicabs, bike rentals, delivery vehicles, cargo bikes, tandem bikes, etc.). We are not able to provide installation or customization support for use of our products on these specialized setups (tandem bikes, pedicabs, cargo bikes, etc.), and installation and use on these specialty setups voids the warranty.


We will need documentation of the issue, including photos and/or videos of the issue and part(s) and serial identification numbers, in order to first try and troubleshoot the issue with you. These are DIY kits and you must be willing to do some basic troubleshooting/repair. You may also need to ship the part back for us to test in order to determine the issue. If a component is deemed to be defective or damaged without user error, damage or modification, a replacement part will be issued.


  • Upcurve will not replace any part(s) without first seeing photos, videos and if need be receiving and testing the damaged part.
  • We will not replace any part damaged, modified, and/or altered by the user.
  • Warranty does not cover issues due to wear and tear, water damage, collisions, crashes, accidents, falls, reprogramming, blown controllers, fried motor coils, worn gears or any other customer inflicted damage.
  • Once you start, cutting, splicing, changing connections, soldering, reprogramming, adding grease or any 3rd party product to your connections/motor, taking apart your products, or altering and modifying the product in any way, the warranty is null and void.
  • Warranty is null and void when pairing parts purchased form Ebike Essentials with non-Ebike Essentials purchased parts. We cannot provide troubleshooting support with items purchased from other companies. Issues can arise when attempting to pair batteries purchased from other sellers with our motor due to compatibility issues. Items purchased from Amazon, Ebay, AliExpress or any other ecommerce website often result in damage and premature failure.
  • Warranty does not cover products employed for commercial use or specialty setups with extra load (e.g., pedicabs, bike rentals, delivery vehicles, cargo bikes, tandem bikes, etc.). We are not able to provide installation or customization support for use of our products on these specialized setups (tandem bikes, pedicabs, cargo bikes, etc.), and installation and use on these specialty setups voids the warranty.
  • Battery warranty does not include damage from power surges, use of improper charger, normal wear and tear, water damage, or modified/altered and/or improper connections.
  • We do not offer warranty service to non-original purchasers.
  • Transportation, delivery, labour and handling charges incurred in the replacement of parts are not covered under this warranty, and shall be borne by the customer.
  • Used for stunts, competition or jumping, acrobatics, bicycle moto–cross, dirt biking or similar activities as all units are not designed or intended for such purpose or usage.


This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of Ebike Essentials products. This warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of defective parts at the sole discretion of Ebike Essentials. This warranty is valid only within the geographical boundaries of Republic of India. Company reserves the right to change this warranty policy at its sole discretion without any notice. In case of any dispute with the customer, courts of Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute.. Ebike Essentials will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts. In no event shall Ebike Essentials be responsible for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages, including without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, or product liability in connection with their products.


 Our primary focus is complete customer satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with the services offered, we will refund your money (as per our refund policy), provided that the reasons are genuine and well-proven after a thorough investigation by our concerned teams.

Cancellation Policy

Your order can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing it. Free Cancellation, till the time VirBike has not been shipped.

If you cancel the order after the product status is ‘shipped’ or ‘out for delivery’, the company reserves the right to levy a ‘cancellation fee’ before initiating the refund for your order. Cancellation post-dispatch of the e-bike to Customer’s place is not acceptable.

Return Policy

Once the product/s is delivered, it cannot be returned or cancelled and no refund will be provided for the same. Products are shipped at the customer’s risk, and we are not responsible for any damage in transit.

Refund Policy

In the event of a cancellation, the cancellation fee will be borne by the customer.

After deducting the cancellation fee, refunds will be issued to the original source account provided at the time of purchase. After the refund has been initiated from our end, the refund amount is expected to reflect in the customer’s source account within 7 to 15 business days according to the norms and rules issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

The cancellation fee is as follows:

Within 24 hours of placing your order, no cancellation fee if the order is not processed for dispatch.

If the status of your order is shipped – 10% of the total order value

If the status of your order is out for delivery – 30% of the total order value

Please note that our cancellation and refund policies are subject to change without prior notice.

In the event that a customer encounters an issue with the product within 24hrs of delivery, specifically if it is not functioning properly due to any technical fault, the product or the faulty part will be replaced as necessary. 

 It is important to note that if there are concerns regarding the height/ color of the product, the company cannot be held responsible for replacing or changing the product.


Delivery & Shipping Policy

You confirm that the address at which delivery of the product(s) ordered by You is to be made, is correct and proper in all aspects. You can expect delivery of your purchased VirBike within 5-12 days of order confirmation from us. In the event that a non-delivery occurs on account of a mistake by You (i.e. wrong name or address or any other wrong information or non-availability of recipient), any extra cost incurred by the Company for re-delivery shall be claimed from You and You shall bear such expenses. Further, the Company shall not be responsible for any damages or losses incurred due to any mishandling of any third-party delivery services provider in transit.

If the Company is unable to deliver the ordered products due to any reason, the Company will refund the amount through the same online mode of payment made by You or will issue a credit in the form of deposit in Your account for the amount received from the sale of such product, that could not be delivered to You, within 90 (ninety) business days.

You will be required to enter a valid phone number and email id while placing an order on the Website. By registering Your phone number with us, You consent to be contacted by the Company via phone calls and / or SMS notifications, in case of any order or shipment or delivery related updates. The Company may use Your personal information to initiate any promotional phone calls or SMS’ unless expressly denied by the User.
